- I’ve never been this “person who paints".

- My grandmother inspired me a lot, being a seamstress and running her own company. As a kid, I borrowed her professional sewing machines, thrifted clothes, and remade them into my own designs. Not because I considered myself “into fashion”, but rather someone who invented the clothes I wanted to wear, the designs I couldn't find anywhere else. NA-KD Art is a perfect example of this: recurrent drops featuring a curated artistic vibe, with eye-catching prints and designs taking center stage.
“An ordinary day for me can consist of everything from coming up with an idea for a single flower detail that’s needed from Merch or developing a high-level concept for prints and patterns for a collection.”
As a print designer, Anna’s days are filled with painting, sketching, and printmaking – and yes, a bit of AI as well.
- When it comes to literally making ends meet in printmaking, AI can be helpful.” Each kind of pattern is expressive in its own way and requires different takes during the construction process. It’s either a puzzle or more of a gradient when creating the pattern. And also of course you have to consider what material will be used, and the three-dimensional design of the garment. It’s both high-level and narrow. I love to experiment and use odd things as inspiration or templates.
– Anna, what makes you NA-KD?
- What makes me NA-KD, a.k.a what makes me true to my core, is also what’s so great about this expressive profession: I get to dive deep into my hobby! My job is to create garments that I personally would like to wear, and to encourage that same urge in other people. NA-KD Art is a great example of this expressive urge: recurrent drops featuring a curated artistic vibe, with eye-catching prints and designs taking center stage. Having the ability to explore this form of art is something that makes me feel like my most authentic me, feeling NA-KD in that sense.
